Allison grew up on her family’s cattle ranch near Coronation, Alberta. She received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Alberta in 2015. From there, Allison spent four years in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories working with a non-profit responsible for environmental oversight of a northern diamond mine. 

Allison returned to the University of Alberta and received her Juris Doctorate Degree, with Distinction, in 2022. While at University, Allison volunteered with Student Legal Services and Edmonton Community Legal Centre providing legal assistance to low-income individuals. 

Allison became an associate at Beaumont Church LLP in 2023 following her completion of articles with the firm.
