Jamie graduated in 1974 from Wilfred Laurier University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and in 1977 graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School. He articled with Beaumont Church LLP and was called to the bar in 1978.

Jamie is a member of the real estate, wills and estates, family, and foreclosure sections of the Canadian Bar Association. He has been a Dispute Resolution Officer at the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta and has acted as a Mediator.

Jamie has 2 sons who are engineers, 2 grandsons and a daughter in law named Jamie Clark. Jamie plays golf in the summer, hikes in the fall, skis in the winter and is an unofficial geocacher.
