McKenzie was born and raised in Alberta, with a strong connection to agriculture while experiencing both urban and rural life.

This dual perspective has shaped her practical and relationship-driven approach to her work.

McKenzie graduated from Carleton University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Communications and Media Studies Honours with High Distinction and a minor in Art History. She completed her Juris Doctor degree at the University of Calgary in 2024. During law school, McKenzie volunteered with Student Legal Assistance and Pro Bono Students Canada.

McKenzie is developing her practice in Corporate/Commercial Law, Real Estate, and Wills and Estates. She enjoys working closely with clients to assist with organizing and expanding their businesses, as well as helping individuals and families prepare thoughtful and effective estate plans.

Beyond her legal practice, McKenzie is a third-generation volunteer for the Calgary Stampede and sits on the Youth Livestock Committee. Outside the office, McKenzie enjoys skiing, riding horses, travelling, and helping with her fiancé’s cattle operation in Mountain View County.
